Apartment Zermatt - Best Location

Location couldn't be beaten. Directly across from the train station and the Gornergrat train. Plus, a Coop, ski school and ski rental store all in the same building. And right in the middle of the town.

TV was a little complicated to use, but we didn't really have much time to watch anyways. And the temperature tended to run a little warm, but we cracked a door every now and then to combat.

Zermatt is a pretty place. Our host Micheal is very accommodating. He will reply promptly to your questions. The apartment is very clean with washing machine. Very near train station and gornergrat.

The location was fantastic. Originally I was looking for a 2bed 2bath apartment with great views but because we were on a 2.5week road trip wth big luggage we opted to choose this apartment. Since taxis in this tiny town typically cost 30 Swiss francs being close to the train staion so we could walk with our bags was the goal and having an elevator was imperative. Not only is this apartment directly accross the street from the train staion and has an elevator, it is also atop an indoor shopping center with a great grocery store and an amazing gastropub called Grizzly's. So at the end of the day you can leave your cold weather gear upstairs and walk on in to the pub. The apartment is fully equipped including a clothes washer and dish washer. The beds were the best I slept in during our trip across europe including stays in 6 different hotels. They save my poor aching back (I have a few herniated discs)! The water pressure in the showers was excellent. Our host sent detailed instructions on how to get in to the apartment and was quick to respond when we had questions. I give this apartment stay a solid 10/10!

There wasn't great views from the windows or small patio but none were promised. Who spends a lot of time taking in the views from inside in a town like Zermatt anyway?

The location was fantastic! Just across the train station and near the cogwheel station. There is even a COOP supermarket below. Very accessible to the places of interest, and it was a very spacious and well equipped apartment.

You couldn’t ask for a better location in the city. It’s just steps away from the train station and dozens of restaurants and shops. The accommodations were perfect. The beds were comfortable. The place was extremely clean and had everything that any travel would need to relax.
