HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The location was excellent as a base for traveling northern Iceland and very close to downtown Akureyri. The rocking chair in the kitchen was a comfortable touch. The covered patio was great day and night, rain or shine. I felt like I was staying at a relatives home. The host reached out to make sure everything was OK. All the comforts of home and very comfortable bed. All around an excellent choice.

Everything in this house was spot on. We loved the place very much. All the amenities, spacious bedrooms and kitchen were well equipped and we felt like we walked in to our home. We would love to visit again.

Shower was hot and had good pressure. Beds were comfortable. Good heating.

The don’t likes are quite lengthy. Bathroom sink did not drain well. Lounge was full of very uncomfortable furniture and not user friendly. The kitchen was old and not particularly clean. The whole place had a lot of stuff that needs to be cleaned out, it looks rather the family have put all their old stuff (furniture, cds, national geographics etc) they don’t know what to do with in here instead of disposing of. The guesthouse has potential but needs work. Very expensive. No instructions provided for recycling, parking or wifi. I would not return. A washing machine should also be provided. After 10 days in Iceland this property was the only one that has let us down.

It's 3 room apartment with all you need. The apartment looks like its residents just went away for shopping or something and leave everything. The kitchen is fully equipped including some specs. There is laundry machine. There is piano

If you want to go by foot to city center, it's a little bit difficult to come back because very hard uphill. But still it,s about 15 min walking

The apartment is unbelievable. Very confortable, cozy, full of everything you need in the kitchen. The expresso coffee machine is a nice welcoming attention. the bathroom is good and very big, beds very confortable The location is great, in a quite area but close of everything you need in a walking distance. It was on of the best places where I stayed

Bathroom. Never seen such a small shower area where u cannot even find where to put shop and how to wash body. water was coming out from shower door😫
