The location of the apartment is very good, shops, the The Explanada de España and the beach are all in walking distance. The owner was very responsive & communicative. There was a nice view to the sea.

This apartment is not really meant for 4 people, the twin bed and the couch are both narrow for adults and teenagers. I would recomend not to list it in searches when people are looking for places to book for 4 people (it might be ok for 3 people who are not so big). There were cockroaches running in the kitchen in daylight and all over the place at night. I think this is not acceptable when you book an accommodation. This is the primary reason for my poor rating. We tried to use the repellent that was in the cupboard but it did not really help. There was a constant noise coming from the industrial buildings next door and there was loud disco/party music at night so overall we could not really sleep because of the noise and the cockroaches. We left the apartment after 2 nights and booked another one. I did not read all reviews beforehand (the first 9 or 10 reviews are all great) that is why I was not aware of this problem with the insects that several guests indicated.

The apartment itself was nice. A little small for a family of 4, but because we only stayed 1 night it was okay. The all building was very nice as well, especially the entrance lobby. The host guidances were very precise and on point. And he was very kind and available.

Not enough sheets to cover us all at night. We found 3/4 cockroaches during our stay. 2 when we arrived and other 2 at night. But because it was a very big building we don't think it was a cleaning issue but rather most probably an overall infestation. We can't really fault the host for this without knowing, neverthless it wasn't pleasant at all and we were lucky that we only had to stay just a night because of that.

Spectacular view from the balcony of the flat over the whole Alicante. The location is very close to the city center, everything is reachable by foot.

The flat is meant for two people, with just a double bed, since the sofa is not that comfortable to open and to sleep on. Also we had only a couple of towels, hence not for each one of the three of us.

The place needs a proper cleaning and maintenance. It was untidy and a lot of things were either functioning poorly or were on the verge of falling apart, e.g. power sockets, toilet, ac/heating, shades. But the rate is very reasonable considering the central location and view of the sea.
