Clifftop Cottage

Clean, comfortable, beautiful location

Shower was terrible, went from freezing to hot to freezing within 5 seconds and was barely usable.

The location was great, with excellent dog walking in the area and a fantastic restaurant in the village. The house was mostly well equipped.

The bed was really uncomfortable. The kitchen lacked a splashback so we didn't want to cook in case we spattered the walls. Some of the pots and pans had seen better days. There was a new TV with Netflix etc but we couldn't access any channels. No biggie but if you had kids looking to watch TV make sure you remember your various app passwords.

Comfortable and roomy accommodation. We loved the log burner. Very well equipped kitchen.

Poor shower. Sharp edges on the shutters on inside of the windows. I tore skin on my forearm on one in the corridor. We hat we had to put the heating on when we got there so it took ages to heat the house up.

Lovely cosy, well equipped cottage in great location. Brilliant to be so close to access for the beach and the coast path to Arbroath. Easy to access lovely Lunan Bay too.

A few areas in the cottage need a bit of TLC- paint work etc. Toilet seat needs fixing. Double bedroom also has limited access at the bottom of the bed which may be an issue for those with mobility issues. But overall a lovely place to stay and we would definitely recommend it to others.

I absolutely love this property was nice and quiet and peaceful. Was a lovely little place to stay.

Dog friendly and even had little dog bowls and other cute doggy touches. The cottage was equipped with everything you could need and more. Decorated simply but beautifully and very warm and cosy. The wood burner was a gorgeous touch which we loved having on at night with the feet up and a film on. Location was amazing. Situated in such a quaint little village with quick access to a stunning pebbled beach. Also super close to larger towns like Arbroath and short drive to Lunan Bay and other great locations.
