Whitby Studio - Mairangi Bay Beach

We loved EVERYTHING about this property!! It felt like a real home away from home (but still felt like we were on holiday!). The studio is perfectly appointed with absolutely everything you could need during your stay. It was super clean and comfortable and just had a lovely vibe to it. The garden of the property is stunning and we made great use of it wether it was for eating out, sun bathing or drying laundry. Kathy and Hec are just the perfect hosts - always there if you need anything at all but not over bearing. Fantastic with our kids too. We got along really great and have definitely made some friends for life. Mairangi Bay is such a fantastic area to stay in - we were so close to everything it’s unreal! Only a few minutes walk away and you can be at the beautiful beach, the amazing kids park, food shops, eateries and even a pharmacy. It was great being in such a gorgeous little beach town but then also being so close to the city centre (which was only a short Uber ride away!). If we ever make the 11,000 odd mile journey to NZ again I would without a doubt come back to stay here. We will miss it.

Great location, short stroll to beach, shops, cafes and restaurants. Very comfortable, well equipped and clean with a lovely outside space, a real bonus. Kathy and Hec are excellent hosts, really recommend Whitby Studio.

Loved everything!

Lovely hosts, very welcoming and accomodating. Perfect size for our little family, with enough space for kids to play whilst giving me my own space at the same time. Lovely section for the kids to play in too.

The Whitby Studio is a cosy and very comfortable suite which is fully self contained. The village and Countdown grocery store and bus stop are 5 minutes walk from the house. Mairangi Beach is another 5 minute walk in the opposite direction. The location is perfect. The private back garden is lovely. The hosts, Kathy and Hec are very accommodating and friendly. We highly recommend this suite.

An ideal spot for a single person or couple; a short walk to Mairangi Bay beach and the Mairangi Bay shops and restaurants.

Everything! This place is just the best ever! It's super close to gorgeous beaches, great shops and supermarket all within short walking distance. Kathy and Hec are the ultimate hosts who make you so comfortable you don't want to leave. At night time it is beautifully quiet and serene you would not believe your so close to Auckland city! Can not wait to go back but will be booking through their website next time. Thanks so much Kathy your an absolute star!

Excellent location for our Conference at North Harbour Stadium.

The overall property was amazing and relaxing. The host were down to earth and lovely people.
