"Lovely rustic room in a beautiful setting"

The location was lovely and it was clean. day one breakfast was well stocked and owners was very friendly and directions were spot on to get to the property. Nice rustic decor and lovely hot powerful shower.

The breakfast items were sadly not replenished on our second day which was disappointing. It would have been nice to have a private little area to sit outside. Mattress was very hard and could feel the springs.

Great tranquil location along narrow roads within easy reach of Moray Firth

We had lovely weather but going in and out of annex could be messy in wet weather. A wrack for storing boots upside down could be a useful addition?

Accommodation was clean and tastefully furnished. Shower room excellent. Bed and bedding extremely comfortable. Good selection of breakfast cereals and jams etc.

Hanging and clothes storage space. Only one small wardrobe. Half the hanging space used to store ironing board, hairdryer and a cushion. 3 hangers. No other hooks on doors. Nowhere to hang wet coats. If staying just one night it is probably adequate.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful area and location, very dog friendly. It was great that breakfast was provided with fresh bread, jam, butter, croissants, cereals, tea and coffee (provided fresh in the accommodation for each day).

The bed was super narrow and the mattress felt saggy. For us (2 tall people) it was not confortable. We felt there were too many room fresheners and room fragrances everywhere - some guests surely will like that.
