La Perla del Lario 51

Ideale locatie tov centrum met hele fijne parkeergelegenheid. Binnen 5 min wandel je richting het centrum.

Locatie heeft alle faciliteiten en ruimte, maar is wel gedateerd. Daarnaast is het jammer dat je € 30,- moet betalen als je na 20.00 uur incheckt.

Very spacious apartment within a few minutes walk of the old town. Perfect. Andrea, our host, was easily contactable and hospitable. There was even a welcome bottle of Spumante! We were greeted upon arrival and enjoyed a very relaxing, quiet time.

Apart from the fact that you need to go downstairs to shower, and no washing machine available, this apartment is a terrific base for an extended stay.

The location was just fabulous, easy walking distance to the centre. It was well equipped with everything we needed and clean. A lovely lady showed us round and was very helpful, answering all our questions. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. The private carparking was a bonus.

I would have liked the apartment to be more Italian. I thought the pictures of New York and London seemed out of place. I also had expected 'City views' and 'Garden views' - the only view we had was of the carpark. There was also a drain smell from the downstairs bathroom.

Good location, about a 10 minute walk out of the main town.

The apartment was dark, on the bottom level of the building looking over a car park, with a very uncomfortable layout - shower is downstairs with laundry and the rest of the apartment is located upstairs. The bed is incredibly uncomfortable, comparable to a pull out couch (can feel the springs in your back as you sleep). I also recommend bringing your own pillows.

Nice place if you're a vampire.

Pictures don't show it but the unit is 20 feet below ground/street level so there is almost no sunlight. The bed was cheap and uncomfortable and the shower was broken. Since there's no windows/sunlight the bathroom has a moldy smell. Hostess offers a narrow check in time (4pm-8pm) and outside of that charges 35 euros. If you are 2 minutes late checking out (10:02 am), there's another 35 euro charge. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere nicer.

Very close to the main centre, cosy and had everything we needed

La Perla del Lario 51 was one of our favourite places that we stayed while in the Lake District. The hosts were excellent and extremely helpful. Even with the language difference, we were able to communicate and get answers to all of our questions. The suite was spotless and had a real 'homey' feel to it. The location was excellent and parking was available on site. It was a short walk into Bellagio and close to some very good restaurants. we would certainly recommend staying at La Perla del Lario 51. And, if we do get back some day in the future, we would certainly stay for a longer period of time there. Thanks for a wonderful 2 days.
