Wonderful Apt in CBD Neighbourhood I Zodiak Stays

My bed sheets were clean. The shower had good water pressure.

I didn't like the many issues regarding maintenance - and broken door lock that neither could lock or unlock to the balcony. I didn't like the crack in the toilet seat, the bathroom door had a piece of paper stuffed in it, the broken fan (no air conditioning in a heat wave made this and the unopened balcony door a big issue), the black mould on windows and curtains, the TV was stuck on some unfathomable mode, the rushed cleaning. Speaking of cleaning our check in time was agreed at 3pm. When arrival came the lockbox was empty and I was informed it would be changed til 4pm for cleaning.Left outside in a heatwave on the street after a day of travel is not accommodating. The building manager said they only had an issue withe Zodiac Management out of all the properties managed. We emailed our concerns to Zodiac but nothing was done about these things. Except a courteous and yet unhelpful reply. We think the owners may not be aware of the way this property is being handled. I hope they read this review. There were other things too ....like the filthy and worn out carpet, thick dust on the bedhead. A complete reno is needed on all soft furnishings, including the carpet, drapes and repaint to bring it up to a decent standard. Also the range hood did not work. I think air con would be something to consider too. Anyway thanks for the opportunity to warn others.

The lobby and area

Whole apartment is tired and needs a refurb. Including new carpet, shower needs some TLC and furniture very uncomfortable. Was clearly not cleaned properly as we found used finger nails throughout the apartment and the blankets smelt and were dirty.

Location, secure access.

Couches and beds are uncomfortable. Can feel wood framing on couches. The toilet seat was cracked No air-conditioning and the fan didn't work. Was so hot and stuffy Dining chairs are not sturdy

No AC, dish washer wasn't working

Location was walking distance from all central Auckland things.

Only one key, living room furniture/carpet is tired/worn.
