The location was great.

The carpet was very dirty. Our quilt cover was old and dirty.

Great location - a convenient, 15-minute walk to shops and restaurants. This was also a recently built apartment, so the amenities were brand new. And if you're a fan of cooking, this apartment comes with all the equipment you'd need to do so.

Sarah wasn't as communicative as I'd hoped. I texted her about airport taxis, and she missed my message altogether. The internet was also so bad - I could not sustain a stable connection for more than 30 minutes at a time. I had to forget about getting work done because we couldn't even order food, or call a cab. I texted Sarah about the issue within an hour of checking in, but she said she could only help us on the last day of our stay. When we were checking out, Sarah wanted us to take out the trash and said we could text her for help locating the waste disposal room. You guessed it - no response. It felt like I was dealing with a property manager who wanted to do the bare minimum, and only at her convenience.

Good sized, comfortable apartment in a great location. Very close to transport and walking distance to lots of good restaurants and cafes. Instructions for checking in and out were very clear. Pretty quiet given the location. Would definitely stay again.

As previous reviewers have said, it needs a really deep clean and a bit more attention to detail in the check out cleaning. I noticed a large stain on the carpet when I arrived, on the last day realised was actually still slightly damp and a little bit sticky. I scrubbed dried food off the kitchen tap nozzle and wiped a sticky drip of something off one of the kitchen cabinet doors before I had done anything in the kitchen on the day I arrived. Some (but not all) ornaments were dusty, some missing pillow cases that were not replaced, and a couple of other minor things that had been missed by the cleaners that by themselves were not a big deal but because there were a lot of minor things it added up. There were also some bent legs on the dining chairs that I believe made the chair unsafe so I did not use it.

The location was good. The building in which the unit is located, is well maintained. Overall the unit was comfortable.

A few points within the unit need attention. (The decorative tile strip in the shower is in need of re-grouting, after the mould is treated / removed. The ceiling directly above the shower has a few spots of mould that if treated soon, will stop a more serious out break. The curtains in the lounge need trimming to the correct length and the ceiling directly above the lounge door needs the old mounting holes patched and painted.)

We enjoyed absolutely everything about this unit. Sarah was so so helpful and super-responsive. The apartment was warm and comfortable and was everything we could have wanted. I highly recommend this apartment for any couples or small families looking for reasonably priced accommodation.

I had a couple of problems with working out the TV remote control … but that could also be user error … hahahahaha
