Fantastic accommodation spotlessly clean well equipped ,comfortable beds with lovely linen. Great location for visiting the whole Island and dog friendly too.

Spent nearly a week in this spacious, comfortable and clean cottage with garden, fully equipped with everthing you need as a couple or family. Our welcome was very nicely prepared with fresh flowers in the rooms, milk, cookies etc. The local village shop (200m) is offering all little things for the day, and you can have tea, coffee, cake and some hot food.I t's just a short walk to the coast with black houses attraction and impressive views. On your way you will also pass the local tweed mill. Don't judge from the outside - even if the whole factory is really old, it's very impressive inside. We had a nice factory tour, seeing the whole tweed manufacturing process. Everything was well explained by the very friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would not hesitate to repeat it exactly in the same way if possible.

Spacious and well equipped. Comfortable bed . Light . Fabulous location well placed for any part of Lewis. Hostess was attentive . Local community shop meant we didn’t have to keep going to Stornoway

Nothing really Be prepared for there to be very few places to eat out locally but this cottage has all you need for catering at home

The pictures in the listing don’t really do it justice. This home is WONDERFUL!!! One of my favorite homes I have ever stayed in. It is so cute and so much effort has gone into to making it a lovely stay! The kitchen is completely stocked with anything you could need for cooking. The view is beautiful out over the fields to the water and it is so peaceful. There are several historical sights in the close vicinity so we never lacked for something to do. We even took a tour of the Carloway mill that was very interesting!

Absolutely everything that we needed. The freshly baked cake was a delicious welcome to Tigh Na Greine.

Cosy and good size

Matress could be bit better there was dips from it being well used but otherwise comfortable

- Very good communication - Clean, spacious and comfortable - The interior decoration made us feel at home, as if we were visiting a relative - All home appliances we needed were provided - Easy check-in (the indications to find the house were useful, the satnav didn't take us to the right place) - Quite easy to drive to anywhere on the Isle of Lewis or to the Isle of Harris - Nearby community shop is very convenient

It is hard to find anything wrong about this place so, at a stretch, I would mention the lack of public transport. (but that's probably to be expected in such small places)

The property was like home from home. We found it exactly what we were looking for. Quiet relaxing location.
