Timeless Apartment with FREE Private PARKING

Host told us that check in time is after 3pm due to cleaning. We have arrived into the appartment around 7pm so they have plenty of time to clean. As we opened the door first thing to see were messy beds with yellow stains and blood drops on sheets. Coffee machine was not there as mentioned, as well as hair dryer, there was no toilet paper, all of the towels were used and wet, toilet seat had urine on it. “Designated smoking area” is actually an ashtray in front of the door with mousetrap next to it. The host promises that he will send a cleaning lady to the apartment but she never showed up. Since we could not sleep in these conditions we decided to leave and demanded a refund which the host agreed to. After that he stopped answering our calls. Because he stopped answering we couldn’t open the garage to get the car out so we had to wait more that half an hour until he finally opened the garage door. At that time he told us that we will get refund confirmation by midnight, which we didn’t get. Tomorrow we again texted him to see what’s going on with refund to which he didn’t answer to this moment.

The location was quite ok, the parking garage is near by, but you have to call the host every time you want in or out, so we just used taxi, it was easier for us.

The beds were unconfortable and the rooms should be cleaned better- there was dust all over the place, ever in beds :-(

Great host who answered all our questions, good location and close to the metro and a store. For us, also a good walking distance (about 40ish minutes to the Danube). Overall it was a good stay and the apartment had everything we needed.

The apartment was a bit cold and some parts were a bit dirty, so I think that they could work on that. Also the garage was quite small as well as the parking space for our big car, but we did manage. It would have been nice to know that in advance.

Big clean bathrom

Bed in the living room from 1952!? ( old, grey, with wholes from cigaretes, moving up and down when you sit on it). Rooms small and uncomfortable, one towel per person instead of minimum two, sheets in the living room with red stains, terrible pillows, unusable closet ( mold stains on the walls, terrible smell), kitchen with three chairs instead of four, no floor towel for the bathroom, cold bathroom as the heating is not working, zero light…

Great location, easy communication with management/owner. Great size fridge for families and includes washing machine.

Hot water leaking upon arrival (and entire stay) leaking on bathroom floor into kitchen (i put a jug to catch the water as cleaner just wrapped a towel around the leaking pipe) no hot water first day (owner fixed on day 2 so we had hot water for our stay but was very low pressure) some clothes from previous people still there. Was assured the appartment had been cleaned. No curtains up so anyone walking past could see straight in. Cleaners came back the first night to fix these problems. Parking is down the street (not easy with a 3yr old and luggage), and you need to call every time you want it opened.

The only plus for your accommodation was the location

There were many things not OK with the apartment. You had our names and so on you knew we were 2 guys and you forced us to sleep in the same bed. The heater with the "do not touch" sticker was not heating properly and we were very cold. The place also was very dirty and mouldy and the water in the bathroom is leaking. Please see attached pictures.

Very nice apartment situated close to the center of Budapest. Everything corresponds to pictures placed on the site. There are sufficient dishes there (cups, plates, mokka). The teakettle and electric cooker are present too. Don't believe in stories about dirty rooms and bathroom: everything was quite clean. Very nice option with private parking - it's quite hard to fina a free parkplace in Budapest.

The big bed (that grey one) is noisy and sometimes (when you get up) it seems that the bed can fold up on its own. However, it did not) Take with you soap, shower gel etc. Host doesn't provide any. Access to the parking is extremly narrow. If your car is quite wide/big, it could be that you willn't fit.

Parking place is under Remotely control of owner. We waiting 4 hour out of garage, in midle of street because owner not replay to phone call for open garage Remotely. And we can not take our car after check out for 4 hours. And parking place is in another bilding not same like appartment. So, never again in this appartment.
