Brill Budapest Apartments 3

Perfect location right at the heart of the city centre. The apartment itself was perfect for the two of us, very cosy, comfy beds and kept us warm in the Budapest winter. The host Viktoria was lovely and would reply almost instantly to any messages we had as well as giving us some great recommendations to visit during our time there.

The only downside was the construction work going on outside and in the main area of the apartment building. It can’t be helped, however, which is why we still thought it was an incredible stay, but it did lead to some confusion when trying to find the building for the first time and with the key code entry.

The apartment is situated on one of the main shopping streets in Budapest and in close proximity to everything. It is comfy and has all the modern conveniences a person would require. As a solo traveler i felt very safe in this area at night time. Communication with the host was terrific, they sent me videos on how to gain access to the property and checked in with me to see if everything was ok and gave me advice regarding any questions I had.

The property did advise me that there was scaffold in situ on the building, however i was not aware that work began each morning at 7am. Despite asking for a quiet room, it is noisy due to the works being carried out; works which are extensive (work is being carried out on the floors, the walls and the ceilings, both in the communal areas and the facade of the building) and customers should be aware that they will continue in the months ahead. I would have loved an english tv channel to relax on the odd evening. There are 5 flights of stairs up to apartment 3.

Location is perfect.

The apartment we have stayed in was exactly the same as the pictures. Everything was clean and check-in was easy with video instructions provided by the owner.
