I like it dark and quiet when I sleep so I took the battery out of the ticking clock and would have preferred the green emergency exit lights to be off.

The host is nice and friendly. The apartment is superb, great size, well equipped and functioning. There's a garden in front of the room to enjoy some greenery. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed a lot.

Great location. 5 star restaurant and a charming pub just across the road. Close enough to the town of Portree but far enough away from the summer crowds. Very cosy and perfect pillows.

The Owl's Nest is uncharacteristically large for Scotland. You have tons of space to breath and move around. It has all the amenities you could need (washer, dryer, dishwasher, wood fireplace, kitchen, quality TV, separate shower and tub). The bed is comfy, and the location is so quiet and tranquil. There's a small river that runs next to the washroom so you can crack a window and zen out to the sound of running water while you have a bath. The hosts are also both so friendly and accommodating. Absolutely loved our stay.
