The smell inside the room was a bit weird because it's basement!!!

"Good location, too expensive for facilities/level of comfort"

Location was good, even though it was quite a climb from the nearest metro station. Room and bathroom were clean. Communication with host was good.

During our 5 day stay we could not get fresh towels (due to the host not being in Budapest). The apartment is located in the cellar of a building and had some pest control equipment in the hallway.
