Great spacious apartment in perfect location!

Quiet location, very spacious, clean

They want a 150 euro deposit for damage and stolen property, I’m assuming these incidence’s have happened in past but didn’t like that.

It was near my daughter’s apartment, a few minutes walk.

Be prepared for a terrible smell upon entering the hall of the apartment building. A lot of containers full of garbage. Old and unkempt building inside, lacks a loving maintenance hand. The apartment has an open bathroom concept along with the kitchen. So using the toilet for basic needs, the kitchen and related rooms that do not have doors, will be overwhelmed by the smell. Behind the toilet, on the floor is the toilet bowl. The toilet pipes are not finished in the wall, you will find a hole in the wall where the pipes connect to the water column. You will also hear the sound of the toilet during the night when the other neighbors use the toilet. Be careful flush twice, indication approved by the owner. There are many things in the apartment that need finishing. Visible pipes, hanging cables, dirty walls. The air conditioner is poorly positioned in the living room. Having no doors in the apartment, the coolness in the bedroom is not felt. It is difficult to cool an entire apartment without doors with only one air conditioner. You can't see anything on TV, it doesn't have any cable programs. The owner recommends going on the Internet stream.

The price/quality is decent. The apartment is huge. There is all you need for a short/medium stay. The kitchen is fully equipped and the fridge is big enough. We liked the location and transport connections next to the apartment. Palace and Fisherman Bastion are reachable by foot. And be ready to pay a deposit (150 euros in our case), the money will be returned in full if the apartment is in the same state as before your rent.

The apartment is quite old, here and there are traces of the absence of renovation. It's important to know that the bathroom and toilet are separated only by a small glass door and short wall, so it is impossible to enjoy full privacy there (may be important in case of a shy couple or 3 person staying). One of the chairs in the kitchen was completely broken and unusable. Since we were 2, it didn't constitute a problem for us.

Amazing apartment, with excellent service and a good location, it is 500m from the Batthyány tér (Metro) and you can go anywhere of the city with it. The owner left a bottle of wine, fresh water and coffee. If I go back to Budapest, I would stay in this great place! :)

It's a very nice apartment, very well located. It was very clean and cozy.

It's not about the property but it's located in a hilly part of the city so if that an issue for you or who you are traveling with, think about it. Also you need to climb a set of stairs to get to the property.

the letting agent failed to responce to handing over the keys or lack of final information and we were standing outside the building waiting for final instructions

-Man of his word! -Good availability with both apartment and host.

-One communication channel would have been ok. AirB&B+Checkin+Email makes it complicated. -Toilet seat was dangerously loose. -Beds were to hard for our back.

Great location, bakery just across the street, appartment is huge and trendy.fast communication with owner. Complimentary bottle of wine and water. Very comfy bed.

There are no doors there. None. Ok if you have radio or tv on... WC right next to dining table can be problem for some people...
