We loved everything about this property-it’s hard to know where to start and how to do this apartment justice! Alvaro was so welcoming on our arrival, available if needed, and advised us on some points about the town; sightseeing, eating etc. The property was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and the patio area was superb. Alvaro seemed to have thought of everything that would make a stay more enjoyable, and the attention to detail was incredible. The apartment was spotlessly clean. There was a generous selection of food in the kitchen that we could help ourselves to and an ‘honesty box’ agreement for alcohol. We were a short walk from everything we needed to see making this a perfect location. This really was a wonderful place to stay.

Incredible place to stay! This was a suite of rooms of excellent quality in a fabulous position close to the cathedral Mosque, Roman bridge and Alcázar and so tastefully equipped and furnished. The host thought of everything a traveller might need and want and is very happy to ensure you have a great stay. Our only gripe was that we didn’t book to stay longer! Probably one of THE BEST places we’ve stayed in anywhere in the world

Great location, we walked everywhere with ease including the train station. SO nice to arrive to a friendly host who can answer questions about the city and property. It's just wonderful to have a wealth of snacks savory and sweet as well as beverages in the fridge upon arrival. I love everything chocolate, and I'm afraid I overindulged - I never keep chocolate at home because I'll eat it until it;s gone. The kitchen is well stocked with quality cookware that's in sparkling new condition; you can truly cook a good meal! Very quiet, very clean, everything you need, just lovely!

Should have stayed longer

Very quiet, central, excellent location, clean, host is very responsive. I forgot my jewelry box in the property and the host shipped it the same day to my address!

Just about everything at the property was ideal for us, as we wanted to be in a quiet place in the old town, where we could go and explore the city with everything no further than 10-15 minutes away, and this fitted our requirements to a tee. The apartment was spacious, well appointed and had that homely feeling, thanks to the furniture and fittings which I think were personally chosen by the owners. The owner, Alvaro, had left so much variety of food for us to have at breakfast, that it would have been impossible for us to have eaten it in our 3 day stay, it was by far, the most amount of free food that we have ever been left when booking an apartment to stay in. Various local beers and wines were also available for purchase at a small extra cost, based on a honesty basis, which was a nice thought if you wanted to stay in for the odd night. We didn't actually use this, as we went out to different restaurants and bars to sample the local custom. Alvaro, also took the time to show us around the apartment and explain everything to us, and also pointed out the main tourist sites and areas on a map of the city, which was very helpful to us in navigating around, especially as the old town has lots of very small lanes/roads. We arrived by taxi from the railway station, and the cost was around 6 Euros. The taxi had to drop us off at the end of the lane, due to the fact that it was narrow and cafe's and bars had seating in the road, but it was only about 50m away from where we got dropped off. When leaving the property, we walked approx 2 minutes to Plaza de las Tendillas, where it was easy to get a taxi back to the railway station, as well as being one of the pick up points (number 8) for both the small and larger Hop-On, Hop-Off buses that tour Cordoba. All in all, I don't think that I could rate this apartment any higher, as it was perfect for our stay, and a credit to the owner.

Everything. We chose to stay there because we had read the comments of previous guests, which said that everything was beyond expectation. I must say that this is true, and we were not disappointed. Go there if you want to experience another level of hospitality, unlike what you have ever lived before.

Nothing belongs here

A very comfortable apartment right in the center with so many beautiful details and water fountains. You had it all very private and NO noise from the street or others. We had plenty of everything and Alvaro had made the most fantastic decorated Christmas table I have ever seen. I could easily have lived there a week or more but only had a quick stay over. I will for sure come back. Thanks for your hospitality Alvaro.
