I recently spent three nights at Dembi at the Great City Park (May 1–4), and really made my stay in Budapest enjoyable. If you are looking for a place that combines the charm of an old European building with modern, thoughtful amenities, this is it. The apartment is incredibly spacious—we had three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, which is a rare find in such a central location. It felt fresh and renovated, but still maintained a wonderful atmosphere. The kitchen was fully equipped, although we didn't cook, including a washing machine. The high-speed Wi-Fi was reliable the entire time. As for the location, it’s a short, pleasant walk to Heroes’ Square and the City Park. During our stay, the park was buzzing with the May Day Festival, and being able to walk back to a quiet, comfortable apartment after the concerts and festivities was a huge plus. Check-in was seamless with very detailed instructions from the host. The building has that classic Budapest character that makes you feel like a local, not just a tourist. It is a traditional building without an elevator, so be prepared for a bit of a climb—but the city views from the top are well worth the steps. The transport links in the whole city are fantastic and made exploring the city incredibly easy. The M1 Metro line (the historic yellow line) is just a few blocks away at Heroes' Square, which whisked us straight into the city center in about 10 minutes. We also found the trolleybus network right outside the door (no 74) to be a hidden gem for getting across town without any hassle. Since the apartment is so well-connected, we didn't need to rely on taxis at all—everything from the thermal baths to the ruin bars was easily accessible via public transit. I would highly recommend Dembi to anyone who wants to see the whole city, while staying in a quieter, greener neighborhood. I'll definitely be looking to stay here again on my next trip!

Beautiful high-ceilinged apartment with two bathrooms, with a nice well-equipped kitchen. The owner was so responsive and helpful. Great instructions to get in, etc.

The location was a little far to some of the central sites but it is right next to City Park, and once we figured out the transit system, it’s a direct bus to the Jewish Quarter.

Luminoso, cómodo, limpio, bien comunicado. Aunque la entrada y el aspecto del edificio asusta, no tiene nada que ver con el apartamento.
