Very clean, well equipped, close to the bus stop and above an excellent restaurant.

Amazing ocean views in a perfect place with several restaurants around, specially the host's restaurant. Apartment is spacious; very good and comfortable mattresses; repainted recently, it's furniture is in good condition and operative but a bit old-fashioned. Plenty of free parking opposite the apartment. Quiet apartment with very good ambient around. Host Miguel was exceptional with us at any time. Caniçal is a coast fishermens village that offers a very good choice to taste fresh and good fish and seafood. We enjoyed the stay. If we would have time to expand the stay, this would have been the perfect apartment to longer it.

Maybe some more cuttlery and cups would have been better. But was our fault cause host was always available to provide everything we could have needed.

Spoilt weekend vacation. Fraud. Compare the pictures of where I actually stayed to the Amarelo apartments that I actually booked ! I booked Amarelo apartments and paid 100% in advance. After I landed the Owner asked me to call him for Instructions He informed me that the Amarelo apartments are engaged and he can't put me there. So, he has another Apartments in 3 mins proximity. He showed me beautiful apartments far away from the sea and surrounded by the small cottages. The view I had from any place was on someone's fence or a wall. It was like Getto. There was late evening, the heavy rain and I was after a long flight but on a rented car. The Owner put me into position of no choice when I was exhausted. Nevertheless, I refused to check in and demanded to put me in the room that I booked and 100% prepaid in advance but it didn't help. The Owner then offered me to move to another town and checked me in a concrete block apartments without view and without any heating (last day of February) for two nights. Photos attached. I arrived in Madeira on my long weekend, so half of it was spoilt. If I knew the apartments are engaged at least one day back I could rent another one. But the way I was framed into the Situation I consider it to be a fraud that spoilt my holiday.

We liked the location.

The furniture was a bit oldish... We mised the dishwasher.
