"The Burrow by St Giles"

Loved the property very quaint & pretty good location. Owner did some nice touches, there was tea,coffee & sugar & a little carton of milk & washing supplies & red sauce etc, I did actually bring stuff but didn't need too.

The traffic literally shook the cottage, I appreciate its on Main St but from 5am it felt like non stop lorries so if you're a light sleeper bring ear plugs. Couldn't turn on the heating the boost didn't seem to work but we had blankets so wasn't the end of the world.

"A beautiful setting and perfect location to see Dorset and Devon."

The back was set in beautiful gardens. It had everything you would need for a short stay. It’s perfect for people who like quirky old properties but with all the conveniences of modern living. The shower was lovely and the kitchen was well kitted out.

Only the noise from the A35. It was fine in most the house except the main bedroom and the outside space. It wouldn’t put me off staying here again but those sensitive to noise might be.

"Perfect cottage stay for a Dorset getaway"

Lovely, clean cottage which felt like home away from home for a few days while we explored Seatown, Bridport, Lyme Regis, West Bay, and stunning coastal paths. The location is excellent and Jane is a wonderful host.

Lovely hosts ...stunning garden and house Lovely outdoor seating area Sister Chiddy Nook also looked lovely Home from home and comfy living room! Lots of games and books to peruse

Slightly underequipped kitchen in terms of insufficient glassware for 4-5 people - no tin foil/clingfilm..no bottle opener Not sure if this could be fault of previous guest ? Noisy road meaning unable to sensibly leave windows open with road noise

"Sfeervolle cottage in prachtig dorpje"

Sfeervolle cottage in mooi dorpje. De cottage is perfect verzorgd, schoon, mooi ingericht en compleet. Communicatie met gastvrouw was zeer goed. Fijne ontvangst gehad en superlief dat ze meteen had gebeld toen we knuffel van dochter waren vergeten bij vertrek. Ook een fijne locatie: de wandeling naar zee was mooi en makkelijk en volgens mij is er genoeg te doen in de omgeving.

Dat er weinig ramen zijn op de slaapkamers.
