'the inlet' falmouth

Lively comfortable apartment only 5 minutes from the harbour.

Everything about this property was superb and welcoming. The bed was extremely comfy, the shower and bathroom spacious, lovely decor and comfortable living room with stunning sea views. Kitchen well equipped and all spotlessly clean. Anna the host kept in touch to make sure we were happy with everything.

Nothing negative about the property to say. Parking could be a bit tricky at times but we mainly walked everywhere as the beach, shops, pubs and restaurants are within easy reach as long as you don't mind hills and steps.

We loved everything about this well appointed property; perfect in every way- beautiful artwork, high end finishing, and owner thought of everything a guest would need.

The only negative is its location. Magnificent views of Falmouth harbor and surrounding landscape, but this apartment sits on top of a high hill, way above the harbor. Your only way down is by treacherous stairs, or steep walkways if you haven’t got a car. If you have a car, then getting around Falmouth is no problem at all. We did use a taxi to take us home one evening, very reasonable £4. If you are in terrific shape then you will love everything about this apartment, we watched many young people tackling the steep steps and walkways with no issues whatsoever. At 69, and recovering from Achilles tendinitis this was a real challenge for me. I would just either rent a car, or rely on taxis next time.

Absolutely thrilled with our stay at this phenomenal property! Exceeding expectations, the photos don't do it justice. Anna's attention to detail and superb communication made our experience exceptional. From the meticulously curated decor to the thoughtful array of books and toiletries, every detail was perfection. A true gem of a find!

Nothing all great

The flat facilities were superb and everything seemed to have been thought through and was provided. Things we would normally have expected to provide for our selves were already there. The property was very well presented and exceptional clean. The view out to sea was a big bonus form the lovely lounge space. Contact with the hosts was helpful, pleasant and informative.

Absolutely nothing

Breakfast was not included. However, everything was totally tops. It is by far and away the best property of its kind we have ever stayed in 😁 If we were ever in Cornwall, anywhere near Falmouth again, we would have no hesitation in staying there.

The design of the apartment was gorgeous and incredibly homey, making you feel immediately relaxed in the space. The location is fantastic, a short walk from the high street and super close to the train station. The host Anna was also great at communicating and clearly on hand to assist should we have needed it, but all was clearly explained so had no need.
