Håkøya Lodge

The overall quality of the lodge was exceptional. The facilities were excellent and the lodge was immaculate. Bjorn was an incredible host, and we couldn't have asked for a better setting. The polar night leant it self to some incredible scenery when the sun started to creep over the horizon on the island, and being twenty minutes away from central Tromso by car makes the lodge ideally placed. a 10/10 get away!

Modern dream house with warm floors, fireplace. Hospitable, very responsive owner, he had prepared eggs from his chickens and refreshing drinks in the fridge. Definitely recommend!

Everything! The cabin was perfect and had everything for us to use. The host put a lot of thoughts into this place.

We loved everything. The space was great. Modern, comfortable and a quiet location. The hosts were superb. Very responsive to my million questions and offered good recommendation. Private patio with fire pit was the best.

It’s a little further out from town but just what we wanted. It was only a short drive for those who want more stores and restaurants though.

Very clean with all the necessary amenities (refrigerator, washer/dryer combo, microwave, oven, kitchen supplies); Shampoo and conditioner bottles in the shower (only missing soap dispenser). Wi-Fi has good speed; free private parking; You get a partial water view (owners house has a water-front location) and a nice view of woods and patio space with heater.

The bedrooms are too small with twin-sized mattresses and small pillows which make it difficult for two adults to share comfortably.

Beautiful, arctic surroundings, we could use the entire polar day. The house was well-equipped, there was nothing missing for our family of 2+, 2yo and 5yo. Nice chats with the owners included in the price!

This is an exceptional property. It exceeded our expectations in every way! The hosts are fantastic! They went out of their way to help and make sure our stay was the best. The location was awesome. The apartment was modern yet comfortable. There isn’t enough room to say how great this was. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy Tromsø, do yourself a favor and book here!

Absolutely nothing. If I had to make a small recommendation, I’d say a mat for snowy shoes by the door. Just so it would get the rug wet by the door. But that’s so insignificant to the greatness of this place!
