Snacks were left for us in the kitchen. A lovely idea. A lovely country view through all windows

Nothing, really. Read somewhere breakfast would be offered but happy with snacks. Shower a little tight,not ideal for disabled people . Handrails would help dotted about

The hosts were extremely accommodating and welcoming. There were some unexpected touches such as milk, coffee, snacks etc waiting for us when we arrived. Throughout our stay they checked to make sure we had everything we needed. The location of the property is lovely in a quiet village which allows access to local attractions, country walks and areas of interest. The property itself is beautiful and ideal for couples or a family. It was very clean and homely. The kitchen has all the equipment you could need during your stay. The lounge area even had a log burning stove - which the host offered to light for us. We would definitely recommend this property and the hosts were excellent hosts. Thank you!

Beautiful views. Friendly welcome. Cooker, kitchen equipment all easy and ready to hand. Bed comfortable, shower was really good. Very good TV.

Access to right hand side of bed was 'difficult' as it was larger than a normal double bed & close to wall. Good refrigerator but there was no icebox. Parking was fine, but steep slope up to road was 'challenging', but then we live in a particularly flat area of the country!

It is self-catering, but everything needed to cook breakfast, or indeed any meal, was provided, and the hosts left a new bottle of milk for us. The view across the valley is exceptional. It was impossible to think of anything a rational visitor might expect or even want.

The only drawback we found is beyond the hosts' control. The village pub operates extremely limited hours, and the pub in the next substantial village was also closed when we were there. For the visitor reluctant to cook on holiday this could be a drawback.

The hosts are so lovely nothing was too much trouble and the little extras they provide are just perfect we have a special needs daughter and she loved exploring the beautiful garden the location is spot on and the cottage is modern and cosy this place ticked all our boxes
