First floor unit with views galore

The view

The attitude of the host. This was our last time at 203 There were no blinds or curtains in the lounge. We couldn't watch TV because the sun and light was all over the TV. It was also very hot. No WiFi. Broken blinds in the bedroom and sliding door. Toaster didn't work. We took photos of the broken stuff and now the host put the blame of the broken cupboard on us. We didn't use the cupboards. Now she insist to keep the breakage fee. Toaster didn't work.

Only the location

Place was dirty with cockroaches,dirty mops.Tv nd wifi not working,we had no network for the whole weekend,complained about the wifi we were told it was gonna be fixed the next day but they never came.Showers old and dirty.We had an unpleasant stay ever

The apartment was neat and clean. Communication before time via Whatsapp was good. Beautiful view of the ocean . Laying in bed watching the waves break on the rocks - priceless. Everything that you need for a short holiday/break away was there and available. And yes you drive past a settlement, but it was not a problem. Verona and her team - thank you. Will return.

The water pressure in the big shower was not very strong, but the other one was excellent.

At the entrance of the estate there is an informal settlement with children and dogs playing on the street. Not ideal especially when it is dark. Once inside the estate, it feels safe, it is well kept and has stunning beach views.

Unit has very uncomfortable old couches, scatter cushions were filthy. They had a sign in kitchen that said they will take R50 off from breakage amount if you left dishes and pots and yet they charge R500 cleaning fee. Light in ensuite bathroom not working. We found 2 heaters that were not working. Blankets were dirty. Not ideal when it is cold.

Place was dirty and mouldy

The environment was good, and I will definitely come back

The only good thing was the view.

The furniture is not only outdated but in a terrible state. Broken windows blinds, old table cloth on table,with a hole in. Broken geyser leaking in bedroom cupboard, couches with holes in. Place needs a complete revamp. This is surely an injustice to what we've paid for.

The view is definitely the biggest selling point of the property. Ample parking and easy walking to shore and clubhouse. We would definitely go back.

It’s unfortunate that the beach estate is located next to an informal settlement but it did not impact our stay in any way. Kitchen could be better equipped to make cooking meals easier for a family of four. Luckily we did take some additional kitchen appliances (just incase).
