The Herring Queen

I liked the living room and the views over the harbour. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and it was quiet on an evening.

The sticky kitchen table, the damp sofa, the cold shower, the problem with the Wi-Fi and TV wireless connection, not being able to park nearby on arrival for unloading.

The location was perfect. Kids loved watching the boats and seals. Great value for money.

Upstairs shower not as good as downstairs but not a huge issue.

The view from the windows looking out over the harbour. Home away from home . A big spacious house bright and airy. Lovely decor old quirky. Kitchen is well equiped. Bonus haveing a washing machine. We would highly recommend. Theres a fabulous cafe under the house tasty food.

Only issue I would advise is if anyone has mobility issues theres two sets of stairs. But suited is fine. Sea gulls can be quite loud.

We loved everything about it

For us at full price it would of been out our price range but it's is incredibly good value for money so this is a personal reflection not a reflection on the property

Plenty of space 2 bedroom Large kitchen Views Parking Close to family Close to Oblo Quiet most of the time Nice walk to see the seals etc

Damp areas in a few of the rooms, needs addressing. No washing up liquid or cloths provided.

Home from home feel,location brilliant,everything you need for a short stay👍

Toilet seats loose..

Location was absolutely perfect right on harbour front with everything - shops, café, restaurant, beach and coastal walk in easy walking distance. Parking was also very easy and free.
