Very central location in town. House had all the facilities you require.

The parking arrangement of having to move the car further up the street every morning.

Liked the location.

I appreciate it is an old building, however we felt very mislead by the pictures. Quite dirty in certain areas. Unsightly damp on the walls, which I felt the owner should have delt with before continuing to let out the property. Not nice at all. I texted the owner as we left early due to the situation in the bedrooms as well as other issues, eg . Rotten window frames, dirty shower tray and flooring in the upper shower room. Pots of paint and wall paper stored in the wardrobe where you were supposed to hang your clothes. Dirty doors in shower room, filthy windows on both inside and outside, yes I appreciate it's near a harbour and lots of gulls, but other guests mentioned this in previous reviews but nothing done about it. Very tired property and needs major renovation. Attemp made to cover the kitchen units with sticky back plastic, but done badly as well as sticky back plastic on work tops which have been cut into and looks terrible. I cannot recommend this property.

This lovely property is centrally positioned, offers lots of options for local walks and is an excellent base for exploring the area.

Mattress too soft for our liking, but understand this is subjective Some basic maintenance to catch up on (handles, drawers, toilet etc) Unless I missed them, instructions for the oven. The main bedroom could accommodate a king-size bed imo.

very nice breakfast at waterfront cafe seals in the harbour coffee sachets in the kitchen

The damp patches in both bedrooms were unexpected and the reason behind the lower scores

An amazing property with lovely view over the harbour and easy free parking. There is lots to do round about both in and near Eyemouth which is a pretty harbour town. We found it very relaxing which is why we stayed there. Loads of lovely eating places to sit in or takeaway. Had a very pleasant couple of hours one afternoon sitting in the sun enjoying the food and drinks at Oblo

Nothing although stairs upstairs were quite steep if you have mobility issues.
