Location, clean and comfortable

Nothing it was perfect

I liked the helpful kitchen supplies of oil, salt, tea bags, etc. The kitchen had a good amount of pans and cookware. And I liked the reclining seats on the couch.

The white duvet covers looked a bit grubby, but more just from not being new - that was ok. We were disappointed when getting into bed to find black hairs on the pillows. Prompted by this we looked closely and found small brown marks on one pillow (swapped it for another one from the other room), so we then pulled up the sheet to find lots of bits of stuff on the under sheet. This, combined with the draining rack not being very clean and the back of the fridge not being clean, made me feel not very comfortable about my stay. The furniture being a bit worn or a bit grubby around fittings in the bathroom would have been fine if it had been just been that but altogether was not great. Separate from how clean the place was, it could do with a table. At home I am happy to eat sitting on the couch but I can use a tea towel or something to spread over my lap, but there was only the one tea towel. Not a big deal but maybe having some trays would have been good.

Comfortable place close to the main area of town. It was a little difficult to locate at first.

The apartment was great ! well equipped and very clean. it felt very homely. As we were up for the hockey. The location near the ice bowl was perfect. and the local takeaways are really good. Chip cafe was best chips ever :) and the Pakora for the indian next door . wow l

The only slight niggle . Was the shower, If set on high then no matter where u set the temp it just went from ice cold to scalding hot in seconds and back again. My partner was left with red marks from the burns. But when set on ECO with the shower dial full on hot . the water was only luke warm ( but at least we did not get scalded ) But the stream was so weak. this may of been because the shower hose was damaged but not sure. We will be coming back . But looking online will prob try to book apartment 2 as the shower looks better now we tried the 1st

Great location in central Dumfries, good eating choices right next door, plenty of space in the property, comfortable and good value.

There’s just the one shower/bathroom/toilet so be aware of that if there’s a group of you.

Very convenient location, clean and quiet flat.

Pillows could do with replacing as a bit lumpy having been washed.
