Waterfront luxury apartment

The water pressure in the shower was fantastic. Very close to a train station.

The stay had a lot of issues. I booked the apartment because even though its price was high and location wasn’t too close to Edinburgh, the photos and advertisement made it seem perfect for us to stay in for two nights. Upon getting to the apartment, issues were obvious very quickly. The apartment was very unclean . There were blinds fallen off over the floor, pizza stains on the ceiling, cob webs all around the apartment, a used and very dirty spoon in my bed side table drawer, no toilet roll, the pool cues were unusable (which meant one selling point of the apartment was useless), one bedroom was very hot with a window that couldn’t be unlocked and opened, the fan in the kitchen was filthy, the extractor fan about the cooker was filthy too, the breadboards and their drawer were dirty and the boards unusable, no dryer for clothes after washing them, tea making facilities but no sugar, lamps without bulbs. To top it all off the apartment is advertised as a "water front" apartment. It definitely is not. When paying the high price I did for the apartment, seeing the state of it like it was is unacceptable and completely unfair.

Beautiful space. Big! Great for bugger groups.

The place wasn’t clean.The floor ,tables,counters,cupboards and a lot more all sticky. Cutlery,glasses needed to be washed.Lots of small repairs needed. Great for one night due to big space and a lovely living room but longer term wouldn’t work.
