Perfect location for exploring Northland

There wasn't anything to not like

Nice country setting with an orchard, a quick drive from town centre. Unit is a little rustic, but comfortable.

The location is right on the highway, so there was some road noise but it quietened down at night.

Well presented and comfortable for a summer stay

Outdoor area and on a busy road with heavy traffic

Lots of space and clean.

The noise from the road, the noise from the fridge/freezer and lack of outside private seating area.

Cosy, cute, tidy and clean little cottage to stay in. Thankyou, would stay again..

This was a lovely studio with everything you need to relax and take a moment to enjoy Kerikeri. Comfortable and clean, quiet and roomy, definitely would love to go back

It was as per the photos and the location was great. Linda was a responsive host and the studio was very clean. It has its own charm and so long as you’re not expecting 5 star luxury accomodation then you’ll really enjoy your stay. Fridge is old, the bathroom dated but this is all part of what I believe it’s comfortable charm. Bed was comfy, WIFI worked perfectly and the shower was lovely and hot and I felt shower pressure was better than expected. Property is quite lovely and the bird calls made me feel at home. Fridge has freezer which works a treat as we travelled with ice packs for transporting food.

There was some heavy trucks passing through in the middle of the night but didn’t bother me however it did disturb my husband. If you’re a light sleeper then make sure you have some earplugs just in case. I would not let this deter you from booking the property. The curtains in the kitchen - they do not fit the windows so do let light into the room in the morning as also light in colour however this can be easily alleviated with an eye mask which I had. For me personally I’d have a multiway that could sit on the bench so I could use toaster there and not on top of the fridge but no major problem if you’re tall. This would have also let me position the mirror there so I could blow dry my hair easily. Minor things that I don’t feel would deter me from booking the property again. It’s a lovely quirky space.
