Silvia was the most accommodating host, so friendly and helpful when we first arrived with recommendations and tips for getting around not just Menaggio but the other places we planned on staying on Lake Como. The apartment was perfect, lovely and clean with great amenities- about 20 minute incline walk from the town with beautiful scenic views from the window. Would definitely come to stay again!

The studio is well equipped and clean. Located in a calm up hill private condo.

The host's controlling approach created a tense atmosphere that made it hard to enjoy our stay. During check-in, Silvia repeated the rules several times, and there are numerous printed reminders with extraordinary charges that she will request. It was super stressful to touch anything in the studio… Prior to arrival, we informed her that we no longer had a car. It would have been nice if she mentioned that a bus was available to reach the uphill studio. We arrived tired, carrying bags under 30-degree heat, and asked if check-in could be brief. She dismissed the request, saying she was tired too. At one point, she said my wife was aggressive, which was not the case, but we didn’t respond as she kept repeating that she had already informed a car was recommended. On the morning of my birthday, we played music and she rang our doorbell twice without waiting a minute for us to answer. She asked to turn off the volume without even saying good morning. Even if the volume was too loud for her, we believe the request could have been made in a more courteous manner. There is a binder filled with numerous printed pages, many of which weren’t useful. The transportation info simply tells guests to check online for bus times. The self-checkout info is included, but Silvia said we must notify her by 8 p.m. the night before departure so she could come in person and do an inspection. We were aware of the uphill location and amenities in advance, but believe it’s important for future guests to have a full picture of our experience. That’s the purpose of reviews.

Thank you for accommodating our request for different check in and out times. Great security for our bicycles, but as described a steep climb up from the town - easily walkable if you're fit.

The possibility to cook and sit in the garden with a beatifull view

It was clean and cozy and perfect for a romantic getaway. Unlike other apartments that only include the basics, this one is fully equipped with all everything you need in both the bathroom and the kitchen. The owner, Sylvia is an amazing nice lady.she gave us a free ride to ferry in a rainy afternoon we checked out. Alireza & Mahsa
