VILLA MARIA (2)

The beach is about a 20-30 minute walk. Very tiring if you don't have a car or motorbike but the beach itself was absolutely beautiful. We rented a boat for the day and got to visit private beaches. The location is definitely the no.1 benefit of this property. Value for money was also good - I think if we actually got to stay at Villa Maria our experience would have been much more positive. Walking past Villa Maria it looked very clean and welcoming. As described below, we did not get to stay at Villa Maria.

The communication with the host was off, we arrived 10 minute before our selected time of arrival and the host had to send her elderly father out to collect us. He spoke no English at all so it was very difficult to communicate with him. We booked Villa Maria and ended up getting walked to a property 5 minutes away. Although Villa Nikos was much larger than what we booked. it was not what we expected and we ended up going home a day early.

Great value for money. in Villa Maria I found a studio with 3 beds, 1 well-equipped kitchinette a bathroom and a small terrace in the front porch. It is located relatively close to the Green Bus Station (A9 and A16) to Paleokastritsa and Makredes. I enjoyed my stay here, even though it was short. You can also find a friendly cat there :)

The accommodation is in a beautiful village with wonderful beaches. The room is large, spacious with a big bed and white beddings which were changed every two days. The furniture in the apartament is old, but everything is clean . The hosts are very friendly and they were always available for anything we needed.

Unfortunately there were a lot of mosquitoes in the room and the persistent sewage smell from bathroom ☹️
