Incredible view!

Comfier beds and nicer furnishing but this wasn't really a concern for the great value

The location was good in its proximity to the old town and the castle.

We were booked to stay four nights but after the first night we had to leave. The toxic smell that emanates from the alcove behind the kitchen and bathroom gave us both headaches. The owner came the next day and then offered for us to stay at Uysal Motel which he also runs. It was considerably cheaper than the Loft but he didn’t refund us the 60 euros. Also at the Loft it’s worth knowing it is extremely noisy from the big yachts moored directly in front and the surrounding eateries/bars. There is no sound proofing and no insulation so you need the air con on constantly. There is no umbrella on the balcony so you can’t sit out there in daylight hours as it was just too hot. Importantly though, it was really poorly maintained and extremely overpriced.

The photos on the advert are of the SUITE & NOT the LOFT. The Loft is a bedsit apartment up 2 flights of a spiral staircase, with a small kitchenette, bathroom & large balcony. You have access to a washing machine just outside the door & you DO have aircon and WiFi. The kitchenette has a sink, kettle, single old, knackered hotplate, panini grill machine, a fridge, enough glasses to start your own bar, & very basic cooking utensils, cutlery / crockery. It is in the roof annex, so the ceiling slopes. My husband had to bend his head & stoop everytime he washed up! Beware the ceilings are only 1m 90. The bathroom has the most excellent power shower, plenty of storage to put your toiletries, a hairdryer as well as the usual. Plenty of towels / clean bedding. They were all just dumped in the bottom of the wardrobe so I did have to tidy/fold so we could hang our clothes! The beds were the most uncomfortable things I've ever slept on. The apartment itself desperately needs some love. It's a bit tired & worn - there are a lot of things that need repairing or replacing. It was clean-ish, but could have been better. You are in the centre of the nightlife so nights are noisy. The owner is very communicative & is happy to help via WhatsApp. The shuttle service arranged by the owner was excellent - way cheaper than Expedia can offer. You just need to send a message after you've booked to get it arranged. What outshines absolutely EVERYTHING is the VIEW it is absolutely BREATHTAKING!

It can be discomfortable for people over 185 cm tall , with lots of luggage and for old people .

. Just to let you know as the place don't have lifts so make sure if you have someone with disabilities doesn't suite this place also it's in middle of the beach bay so you can expect noise till late. Other then this no issue and we had good time.

Great location. Even though it was a weekend the noise wasn't loud enough to interrupt our sleep. It was a clean room. Nothing luxurious but good enough if you only need a place to sleep for a day or two.

The bathroom was quite small and the toilet seat wasn't fitted in properly. But we learned from the owner that he fixed it after our stay.
