We stayed at Postmans Rest in 2023 and liked it so much we booked again in 2024. The property is spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. The hosts have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into maintaining the property and have gone for comfort rather than making money. The reserved parking space is also a bonus. The welcoming cream tea was consumed with relish. Recommend nearby Caffyns Farm for a great horse ride around the local bridleways. We mostly explored on foot, walking upriver to Watersmeet and beyond; exploring Lytnon, the Valley of the Rocks and Leigh Abbey. We love Lynmouth & Lynton, an ideal base for exploring Exmoor & the North Devon coast. We are lucky enough to live in East Devon, so a short journey for a nice change of scenery.
A lovely oak king size bed but let down by the mattress, which I found too thin & soft. A bigger vegetarian choice in the local eateries would be appreciated. No other winges : )

Great location, lovely well appointed clean flat with good views. Great shower. Quiet despite it's central location.
The bed is a good size but you are likely to roll into the middle. Minor issue, but if it is to be used the freezer needs sorting.

Beautiful apartment situated in an excellent position with allocated parking space nearby. Easy access to great walks and the sea. Everything we needed for a lovely relaxing break! Apartment was spotlessly clean and the welcome cakes and milk were much appreciated.
