Apartment Nicole

1. It's situated in a piazza so it's close to a lot of places, e.g. restaurants, cafés, shops, ATM. It's about 200-300 metres away from the Menaggio ferry terminal if you come by the ferry, so if you have minimal bags with you, should be walkable. 2. I enjoyed the living room and dining area, especially when the windows are open and you get to enjoy the cool breeze on a hot summer's day. A clock tower is nearby and would chime every half an hour, with a special tune every 7.30AM and 7.30PM. 3. Their kitchen is complete with plates, glasses, cups, cutleries, spices, tea, a coffee maker, even a pizza/bread cutter! We didn't cook but certainly made use of the plates and cups. 4. Like most Italian accommodation we've been to so far, they have a bidet in their bathroom as well, which we appreciate as Muslims. 5. There's a front-load washing machine and a drying rack. They have a heated towel rack but if you're there in the summer they don't turn it on because of the heat, so just use the normal drying rack and your clothes would dry up fast in the sun. 6. The building has a small elevator to take you up to the apartment. It helped us a lot with our bags.

1. We came in the summer and didn't realise there'd be no AC. A stand fan was provided, and it would be better if they could provide another one: one for the living room and one for the bedroom. We had to move the fan around, depending on where we were in the apartment. Luckily the fan is light, so was easy to move. 2. The bedsheet smelled a bit damp. We managed it by using the toto and blanket provided.

This property is perfectly located right at Piazza Garibaldi with many choices of restaurants and gelato shops and 6 minutes walk from the ferry terminal. It is sparkling clean with everything you would need and so very tastefully decorated. The family restaurant and patisserie (run by Nicole’s family) a few metres away are highly recommended. Fantastic food and service. The apartment is perfect for your visit to Menaggio and I would stay again in a heartbeat. I am already recommending it to family and friends.

If you are looking for a charming old town flat, you have found it. It is 10 meter from the main square, where you can find many restaurants and bars. Tidy and clean. You have towels, washing machine and everything in the kitchen to cook. Nicole is very kind, she can help you find a garage or parking place or she can recomen some restaurants.

The lift is very small an stroller doesn't fits in.
