The property was fantastic, located 10 m from the beach right at the center entrance of Monopoli's main area. The apartment was on 2 floors, on the first floor were the bedroom and washroom, while the 2nd floor there were the kitchen and the fabulous large terrace offering what we thought the best view of Monopoli looking over the beach and the sea. Our host Enzo was a GEM throughout our stay, offering any help and excellent recommendations for non-tourist traps restaurants where we ate like kings. All our friends and family members with whom we've shared pictures were simply envious.

Having stayed elsewhere in Monopoli previously we picked this property for its amazing location. Just a few footsteps and you are on Porta Vecchia beach and just inside the old town with all it’s restaurants and bars etc. The sun roof terrace has amazing views, is spacious and has a covered area too. Also the property has a light and airy feel due to the tasteful decor. Air conditioning in the bedroom area was particularly good and very welcome. Everything was just as we had hoped it would be. Also last but not least we have to mention our host Enzo. He was so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. He assisted in guiding us to a free 24 hour car parking area as near as possible to the property. He suggested the best local restaurants, beaches and other places of interest to visit. Lastly he saved us from missing our flight home when our hire car broke down as we were about to head to Brindisi airport. He arranged booking the car breakdown recovery service, got a friend to give us a lift to the train station at short notice, waiting with the car until it had been recovered. We got to the airport 2 minutes before check in desk closed. A true hero.

Everything! The view is truly spectacular, and the 20 steps proximity to the beach is fantastic.

We booked this beautiful, little apt for the second time in just 12 months, even if we live in the US. The location is exceptional! You do not need a car to stay in Monopoli if you rent this place, because you are already in the oldtown, literally on the old walls of the town. There is a beach just there; you can walk to pizzerias, restaurants and coffee shops. The apt has a beautiful terrace with a table to taste a coffee or “focaccia” while enjoying the view of the sea. What can you wish more? The host, Enzo was very welcoming.

Do not try to park too close to the apt, because it is in a traffic restricted area, so you may end up trapped in narrow streets. You will park 2-3 blocks away from the old town. The host, Enzo gives great information about where to park.

Monopoly stole our hearts! The apartment's beach views stunning, and Enzo, our wonderful host, made it an amazing first visit to Monopoly. His impeccable reservations and local knowledge were invaluable. We especially loved Enzo's Lido recommendation and the Pizza - oh actually everything! Wonderful location, providing easy access to the beach and right in town, we're already itching to come back!

This is an excellent apartment literally only about twenty metres from the town’s only small sandy beach. It has a large roof terrace overlooking the beach, there’s a wide array of restaurants almost on the doorstep, and it’s only a couple of hundred metres from the Cathedral. The host Enzo couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. He spent ages ringing around trying to find a taxi to take us to the station early in the morning, and when he couldn’t find one he volunteered to drive us there himself. You don’t get that sort of service every day. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

Not much. The stairs up to the apartment are steep and narrow so it wouldn’t suit anyone with mobility issues.
