Goedehoop Boutique Manor House

Probably the best property we have stayed at using booking.com. Everything about it was excellent, well beyond our expectations. Jaba was amazing, as all the other reviews will testify. We saw elephant, hippo, Impala, waterbuck from the pool. Close to the gate for the Kruger and close to shops in the nearby town. Every bedroom was en-suite and amazing. The lounge areas too were fantastic and the outside dining area great. We will be back when we can.

The house was immaculate, lots of attention to detail. The river view breathtaking. Jabu is incredible.

Lack of fans to use during load shedding and no sheet pans for the oven

Very well maintained, amazing views and has everything you could think of! The care taker, Jabu, is an absolute blessing! She took great care of us during our stay!

This is a super special property. We loved everything… the attention to detail in the decor, the herds of hippos, elephants, and impala’s that kept coming by to say “hello”, the sounds of the wildlife at night, and the cherry on top was Jabu! Jabu makes you want to just take her home with you. It’s so hard to leave this accommodation. The beds are super comfortable. The linen is changed every day so it’s just always smells so fresh. You don’t want to get out of bed but you can’t afford to miss the wildlife action on the river bank. Amazing value for money.

The surroundings and the place I’m definitely a a 10 star, everyone was happy with their bedrooms and the house is really spacious. The mango farm when driving in was also the Chery on top watching the elephants and hippos from the fence was really relaxing and exactly what we needed. The house is very clean Sis Jabu is the star of the show, she was readily available whenever we needed help with anything she made our stay extra special kudos to her. I also loved the study as I still had to work and I had the most beautiful view while working,

There’s absolutely nothing not to like about the house - it was gorgeous!!! We enjoyed every minute of our stay!! Jabu the housekeeper was super amazing and really went out of her way to make it special for us.

Not a single thing to dislike - this house is a dream house in a dream location!!!!
