The views from each room, the herds of elephants and hippos at plain sight. The facilities, the decor, the aircons, and kitchen neatness and utensils. the cleanliness of house, and most of all the amazing service of Jabu and her colleague. Jabu was simply the best host - setting the table, keeping the kitchen neat. I left very sad as I didn’t want to leave - definitely a spot I would return. Thank you so much!

We were rushed into checking out at 10 exactly because guests were coming however when we ask for an early check in we were told it’s impossible months prior

This is our second year in a row, and we will be back. The property is in a brilliant location with great facilities. Jabu the house manager is the most obliging helpful person who elevates the stay. The minor upgrades look great, especially the terrace roll down blinds.

The bathrooms are getting tired. We missed the sun loungers around the pool that were there last year. The gas braai needs to be replaced and is useless in its current state. The camping chairs around the fire pit need to be replaces and are in a very bad state.

Highly recommended. Superb property that is even better than the photos. We stayed 5 days and saw loads of birds and animals coming down to river, and in the garden. Great bedrooms with fabulous views. We were a large family group and the communal spaces work so well, for get together as well as quiet time to read a book or draw. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need and also a great boma. Although you feel like you are right in the countryside as it is quiet with great bird / animal life you are close drive to town with a fantastic SPAR & TOPS to get supplies Great meal out at The Deck. Jabu the housekeeper is exceptionally helpful and very good at her job. We took safari drives to the Kruger with Lilhosi game drives -really well organised and saw lots of game. Sibu is a fantastic guide.

The gas braai did not function very well at all - doesnt get hot enough, we had to "braai" on the gas stove in the kitchen in the end. The nights that followed we then made a fire

Spacious beautifully furnished house located on the banks of Crocodile River. Unobstructed views of wildlife across the river. You can sip sundowners while watching the sunset and observing hippos, elephants, and crocodiles in their natural habitat. Amazing experience!

Really comfortable stay at a gorgeous location. Infinity and lawn in front of the house is spectacular. Jabu was really helpful, eager and friendly. Conveniently located close to the Malelane Kruger Park Gate.
