Host met us at the ferry and took us back to the property showing us the restaurant we had asked her to reserve and the bike hire place she had organised. She was incredibly kind and also dropped our luggage at the ferry when we departed.

The owners go out of their way to make your stay perfect. Pick you up from the ferry. Give recommendations for renting bikes etc. Emailed the current ferry schedule. Took us into town and to the Chichu Museum. So sweet. Views are beautiful of the Seto Islands and sea and lovely to hear the crash of the waves as you sleep. Only Japanese spoken so use your google translate for communications - which is not a problem

The rooftop terrace of the apartment overlooked the sea and beach. The view and setting was just amazing and not something you often find especially in Japan. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful providing assistance for dinner bookings, transportation at no cost and bike bookings for us. The beds were very comfortable. Having a communal kitchen was also great for cooking breakfast and dinner yourself if needed.

The very small bedroom. It was a bit expensive.
