Basic but adequate

Our host met us straight away, showed us around, gave us bikes to use for free. He also drove us to our next location as soon as we checked out, so lovely! We had a great time here.

Great host, bikes available

At an exclusive location it is away from bustling tourists (there’s not many on the island though). Good value on the price. The owner offers free bikes. Better to rent a e-bike as it’s hilly in Naoshima. However the description about the landlord needs to be updated on booking.com. Not relevant anymore.

This was the last hotel available on the island but it turned out to be a very comfortable and hospitable stay for me. The hotel is near a lot of the Bennesee Art Site attractions and near the Honmura port area (Art Houses & Ando Museum). The availability of bicycles at the property was a lifesaver, as the e-bikes and regular bikes are usually booked up at all the bike rental places on the island. I would also recommend the Okonomiyaki Umikko restaurant nearby for the pleasant relaxed atmosphere.

Such a peaceful place...we had every thing we needed and lots of space. The host is sweet and kind.

The place. It is humble, but is quiet and the host is very nice

Don’t expect a luxurious space

The location is nice, in a calm street close the sea. There are couple of restaurants around. The room is essential, a bit outdated but for the price is perfect. The owner is kind and he picked us up and drove us back to the port the day of the check out.

The booking page is not updated with latest check in info, the restaurant is mentioned for early check in does not exist anymore. So text the owner (in Japanese) on your arrival for pick instruction.
