Large, very clean room with fully appointed kitchen in quiet neighborhood near delicious restaurant, Onomiaki Umikko. Friendly, helpful owner, free bikes (we didn’t use), free parking )we did use). May feel a little separated from art areas but everything on the island is actually very close and easily accessed.

Very spacious room with kitchen and laundry, and comfortable beds. Clean and has everything you need for a stay on Naoshima. Host was excellent! Very helpful and kind, delivered some headphones we left behind which we are super grateful for. Location wise is quite close to art museums and one of the ports. Quaint part of town with bus access and great restaurant just around the corner.

Might be difficult for large suitcases to get up and down the stairs. However, host is helpful with getting stuff up and down them.

Very friendly and helpful staff

A very simple room with two beds. But clean and well located being a 25 minute stroll from the group of galleries designed by Ando. The host was very lovely and even gave us a lift back to the ferry when it looked like we’d miss our bus.

No coffee in the room.

Clean comfortable and plenty of space with amenities in room. Close to the bus stop.

A bit out the way. A couple of restaurants but no convenience stores or cafes nearby

We loved being able to open the windows for a sea breeze. Old school flat but clean and comfortable. Manager a real gentleman. Wished we could have stayed longer on Naoshima Is. Linda

Compared to Japanese standards it was very poor. I got the owner to look at the kitchen sink as the smell coming from there was deplorable and figured it was blocked and the strainer was filthy. He took it away and never returned. Kitchen was so dirty I did not cook in there. No maintainence and generally not clean.
