Cosy studio flat

Lovely return stay, great shower and comfortable bed and good WiFi signal to. Handy in the centre of town and 3 minutes walk from Aldi and the train station. Photo shows the Northern Lights over the building :) Great for a quiet wee escape.

The kitchen was reasonably well equipped for self catering but couldn't find a cutting knife.

It was very inexpensive.

We had No working TV channels for the 2 day duration of our stay. We were using accommodation as a Base while walking the Angus coastline but on the 2nd day of our stay we had No hot water/shower facility or heating. We had to boil kettles to fill a basin to wash with! Not ideal after a 15 mile hike. We were told there was a problem with the card and this sometimes happens and it would be fixed. It wasn't fixed that day or on the day of check out. It fell well short of the basic minimum facilities you would expect.

When we arrived already was in the apartment. It was a double booking. The owned did not even answer the phone.

The apartment was as described and was clean and comfortable in a good location. It was well equipped with everything needed for a self-catering break. I enjoyed my short stay at the property, which was good value for money.

The parking facility was on waste-ground at the back of the property accessed through a narrow dark lane, which was not in good repair. When I went to use the parking, it was full, and I had to find another location to park overnight. The bed linen was not ironed.
