High Gables Apartment 2

The Apartment was spacious, had everything we needed and was in a great location. The icing on the cake was that it was dog friendly, which meant the whole family could enjoy the break. The info pack about the property and the local area was incredibly helpful.

There was nothing which we didn’t like.

It had 2 bathrooms a patio 5 minutes from beach and town

Perfect location. Plenty of space. Loved the garden. Will definitely be back.

The only negative was I felt that the kitchen could have been a little cleaner and horror of horror, couldn't find a corkscrew.

Very narrow hilly road

The apartment is in a great location with a park just across the road leading to the sea front. A short stroll to bars and restaurants. The apartment itself is bright and spacious and very well kept. Loved the enclosed patio/decking area which was great for sitting out and letting our dogs potter in and out. Would definitely visit again.

It would have been nice to have had just a small carton of milk in the fridge to be able to relax with a cup of tea on arrival before having to find a shop

The apartment has a well equipped and lovely kitchen so one can cook family meals as if at home. There are also places not too far to get takeaways if one wishes. For the rainy days or the evening there is a digital TV with Netflix in a very comfy lounge with three sofas! Whilst for the sunny days there is a new patio area which helps enjoying the sun till late afternoon. The strongest point is then the location just on the footsteps of Young's Park and Goodrington beach and amenities!!

Nothing we did not like really! I would just advise those with mobility issues that this is a first floor apartment and there are 10 steps or so to negotiate the access.

Location size of apartment enclosed garden parking

Cleanliness was not great .dirt & hair under furniture. top draw of freezer was stuck solid . oven was dirty. microwave was rusty inside . The whole kitchen needs a good clean . No towels except 2 hand towels provided which was not made clear when we booked but did get some dropped off after phoning the host .also emailed host through booking.com & her own email 2days before trip asking if hairdryer was provided but had no reply as it's not listed so took my own to find there was one there 🙄 . It could be a lovely place but needs some TLC and that includes the garden lovely area but totally overgrown with weeds & dead plants.

nothing it was perfect

the property was lovely and clean lots of space as 4 adults spending a weekend away it was great having the rooms the other end of the apartment. The apartment was a 5 min walk to all the pubs and town. highly recommend this apartment if you are ever going to Paignton this is definitely the place to stay
