High Gables Apartment 2

We had a lovely time there, we felt very at home and it was an excellent location. So nice to be close to the beach/parks/cafes etc and with a dedicated parking space.

They do state no towels but it would be nice if they could be provided. We couldn’t find corkscrew or tin opener. Small things but we did need them. Kitchen items could have been cleaner/newer. These are small matters and nothing that would stop me recommending this place.

Location was fantastic for the beach and zoo. Apartment was incredibly clean throughout.

No bottle opener, so take one unless you want to improvise! Also take loo roll as less than 1 roll per bathroom was provided for the weekend. Some parts need some attention e.g shower over bath is leaking, battery pack behind mirror in main bathroom was hanging down, damp patch on wall above en suite.

Door keys weren’t easy to work Some kitchen items could have been cleaner Twin room had signs and smell of damp not good for an asthmatic person

The apartment was fine, very clean and spacious. but it was cold and it wasn't possible to turn it up. It was uncomfortable to be cold in the evening and early morning. Towels were not supplied apart from very small hand towels and one medium. It should mention this as it was cold to shower and dry with a hand towel. We could of easily brought some with us had we known.

The apartment was cold and it wasn't possible to turn the heating up. It was uncomfortable to be cold in the evening and early morning. fire in the lounge but couldn't work out how to use it. The apartment overlooks a railway line and this is not mentioned. They could make a feature of this as it is an opportunity to see the steam train go by. Instead of not mentioning it, use it as a lure. It was a shock to see but didn't impact our stay Television was old and couldn't get Netflix as suggested.

Large, comfortable and well appointed apartment. Great location, especially for dog owners as next to a park and a beautiful beach where dogs can run. Great communication with manager. Thank you for a lovely stay.
