Casa Monticello

Our stay at Casa Monticello exceeded all our expectations. The place has a unique beauty: nestled high up in Montepertuso, above Positano, it offers a view of the sea and the coastline that is simply unmatched. Opening the windows every morning to that landscape was a true gift. The apartment is comfortable, spotless, and in an unbeatable location, with the peace and tranquility you look for in a real getaway, yet well connected for exploring the area. But what truly made this stay something special were Teresa and Fabrizio. Their hospitality, warmth, and constant attention to our every need made us feel at home from the very first moment. Always willing to help and to share recommendations, they gave us an experience we will never forget. Without a doubt, a place to recommend. We would come back without hesitation. We loved everything. The hosts greeted us upon arrival and showed us the property. They made everything so easy and wonderful. The views are out of this world. I’d stay here again in a heart beat. I have been to positano 4x now and this property was my favorite.

Nuestra estadía en Casa Monticello fue simplemente excepcional. Desde antes de la llegada, Teresa y Fabrizio fueron anfitriones increíblemente amables, atentos y cálidos. Nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos desde el primer momento y durante toda la estancia estuvieron pendientes de cada detalle. La propiedad superó completamente nuestras expectativas; honestamente es incluso más bonita que en las fotos. La vista es absolutamente espectacular y el ambiente transmite una tranquilidad difícil de encontrar en Positano. Después de días recorriendo la Costa Amalfitana, llegar a un lugar así era realmente un privilegio. La casa está perfectamente equipada, muy cómoda y cuidada con muchísimo gusto. Además, encontramos muchos detalles especiales que hicieron la experiencia aún más memorable y personal. Al despedirnos tuvieron gestos preciosos con nosotros: un plato típico de recuerdo de Positano y una hermosa bolsa artesanal para mi esposa, detalles que reflejan el cariño y la hospitalidad auténtica con la que reciben a sus huéspedes. Sin duda fue uno de los lugares más especiales de nuestro viaje por Italia y regresaríamos felices. Gracias Teresa y Fabrizio por todo.

The silence and the view of Positano which you could reach by a 30 min romantic walk on stairs.

Even in less friendly weather we enjoyed everything there.

Teresa and Fabrizio (and Fluffy) were wonderful hosts! They assisted us with transportation options, restaurants, etc. The apartment was wonderful and the view was incredible. Would definitely go back!

The view, the room with kitchen facilities and balcony, the excellent information from Teresa concerning transportation options to and from Portofino and the on-site parking.

The large number of stair steps from the parking area to the room (in excess of 80) which I do not think were adequately disclosed in the booking.com Description of the property. Also I was not told that they had a lift for baggage until after we had carried all our luggage down and I had carried some of it back up. At 73, with a bad back, this was a significant omission.

Teresa and Fabrizio are the perfect hosts. Their communication was excellent. Regular updates and local information. So friendly and welcoming. Even carried our bags down the steps. The apartment was well equipped with an amazing view and so quiet. They arranged birthday balloons and the optional breakfast was very tasty. Thank you!

The villa was spacious, spotless, and beautifully presented, with a stunning outdoor balcony and shared areas that captured the beautiful Positano views. The views were breathtaking, the amenities thoughtful, and the helpful app made every detail of our stay effortless. They also have a beautiful family dog named Fluffy that frequents the common area, which we loved!!
