Positano's Flats

Martina did a great job communicating with us prior to our arrival and met us at the door when we arrived. She showed us around the unit and also gave us recommendations for restaurants, stores and beaches. The unit was quite spacious. There were two bedrooms (each with a queen bed), a large living room (with a sofa bed) and three bathrooms (including a washing machine) and a kitchen. The terraces/patio were lovely and had great views. A wonderful place to stay and I would highly recommend.

This is not a complaint but just a note that it is about a 15-17 minute walk to the beach from the unit (which is fairly standard for Positano). The first part of the walk is on a busy road with no sidewalks, so that made for some excitement. Again, this is not unusual for Positano and should not prevent anyone from staying here, but just a heads up.

Great location! Super cute

Beautiful, authentic Italian vibe that was a short walk to the center of Positano. The view was phenomenal and the seclusion from the hustle and bustle of the touristy part of town was nice, but still very easy to reach.

The apartment was much bigger than I expected. There were 2 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and a third full bathroom with a washer. No dryer, but a large drying rack was provided. (The master bath has a new very large shower!) Air conditioning worked well also. Very clean, and large towels provided. It is a 10 minute walk into town.

The patio/balconies provided nice views, but only if you were standing. The bench in the biggest patio faced the wall, and the other bistro seats were too low, so your view was blocked. It would have been nice to be able to sit and have a view. A pretty minor thing, however, as we were out exploring most of the day.

The views from the apartment are absolutely incredible. The massive expanse of the ocean welcomes you each day. The location at the South end of town is manageable. The walk to the town center and the best restaurants is not too far. We appreciated the beautiful new shower in the master bathroom. Martina welcomed us the day of arrival and gave us several good recommendations for restaurants, experiences, etc. The coffee machine in the kitchen produced a nice cup each morning.

We had a bit of a challenge with the extra bedroom AC which Martina worked to address for us. Unfortunately the washing machine did produce an unpleasant odor whenever not in use. Keeping the door open and air freshners close by helped reduce the smell. We realize most European beds are typically quite firm. We would have appreciated a foam topper to provide some added comfort. We just stayed in an apartment in Madrid and slept in beds with a 1 inch foam topper. It was magical! What a difference!

This was a fabulous space. Two bedrooms, three bathrooms, clothes washer, full kitchen, outdoor patio, verandas, with a 180 degree view overlooking the city, ocean, and coastline. Immaculately clean and peaceful. We wanted to stay two more days and just relax in the apartment. Martina was very accommodating. She arranged for a porter service to deliver our bags to the house, met us streetside, gave us a full tour and recommendations, and was available by phone or text for any questions at all. The service she provided was excellent.

We loved every moment

Breakfast was not included. The owner arranged for our bags to be delivered to the apartment from the ferry and on leaving arranged for the bags to be delivered to the ferry. She was very receptive to questions and helpful with answering our questions. A very nice experience and fantastic view. The apartment was very clean and comfortable.
