Lovely 1 bed flat in Victorian house 300m seafront

The flat was lovely, well supplied with necessities, and had a nice little patio to sit in the sun. Very nice taste in all the furnishings.

Communication ahead from Booking.com was TERRIBLE! Although the host said she sent a long email with the exact address (not the vague “Old Club” which took me to the wrong gate with a confusing keypad, I checked my spam folder and others, and the first time I got tat email was 6:20 the night of my stay, after I had been trying to get in withe the wrong code for an hour. The code in a previous communication from Booking.com was confimed by the host that morning at 9:20, but She then sent the corrected keycode only after I called her. Extremely stressful,especially because it was difficult reaching her with my American phone.

Clean, well equipped apartment very close to the seafront and supermarket. Very well situated, just a ten minute walk to the centre of town, harbour, bus/train stations, shops, parks, pubs and restaurants. Well placed to visit the surrounding towns and enjoy coastal walks.

A lovely decorated apartment close to all attractions of Penzance. It had everything you needed for a short or long stay. Close to a large supermarket.

Not always easy to find a park. Mattress on the bed could have been better.

The kitchen was very well equipped. The apartment was clean

The bathroom was very narrow and had no place for our toiletries.

Great location for walking into Penzance, walking on the seafront or going on a boat trip. Loved the cream tea provided when we arrived. Also liked the very large bedroom.

We parked in a nearby road to start with and then moved the car twice to get it nearer the apartment. In the end it was outside.

The furnishings and decor were lovely (chandelier, dimmable lighting in living and bedroom, and the space was well used (storage under a staircase related to above apt., chifforobe in bedroom, etc.) Kitchen was well stocked, including a lovely welcome treat, milk in the fridge for coffee, etc.

"Free parking" listed in the booking form was actually "street parking" and none was available for over a block 4 out of 6 times we moved our car. The "free parking" in the booking information felt very misleading, though I don't think this was intentional on the part of the host. ("Free parking" meant to us that there was dedicated off-street parking associated with the rental.) That's my only criticism of an otherwise lovely space.
