Victorian Church Flat 3

Central Oswestry location. Showers were great. Beds were v comfy and clean. Ground floor.

No parking by the door and/or having to move car around due to no parking nearby . Noise at night( I had not realised that the flat was below a restaurant) possibly with staff leaving or having breaks? Hard to tell. Kitchen was not very clean. One question earlier was about the staff. We didn't see any staff so didn't know how to answer that.

Very dark but that was obvious from the photographs so not unexpected. I think you could improve that though with some artificial lighting it was fair. Un exciting not expensive as Airbnb goes parking facilities were very adequate as I’m disabled that was grateful for that.

Was dark and felt rather cramped, but bedrooms were a better size.

The apartment is quiet, well laid out and in an excellent situation.

Not having a key to the side gate for pedestrian access to the main road. Not the end of the world but irritating as a notice in the apartment says we can use that pathway. No washing machine (ok for short stays). No icebox in the fridge

I wasn’t going to post a public review as I wanted to give the property the opportunity to to improve, but as they couldn’t even be bothered to acknowledge my message, it’s clear they really don’t care and future guests should hear my honest feedback. The cleanliness in the flat is at a really unacceptable level. The cupboard doors, the drawer handles, the floors are all dirty and the carpets don’t look like they’ve been hoovered. Most of the surfaces and window ledges etc were actually dirty - the sink area actually hadn’t even been wiped and had dirt and cup rings etc on. The small sink in the kitchen is blocked with what appears to be scum. I don’t want to be unkind, but I do want to let you know as it felt quite unhygienic at times. I hope you take this as constructive feedback. Thank you

The situation is very central. Although small it is well thought out and comfortable.

I found it hard to watch just ordinary TV. We seemed to have to go through Apps. Not the end of the world but a but annoying

A lovely space, really well located. Excellent facilities. Especially great to have a wonderful Indian restaurant upstairs.

The property felt a touch damp and stale, as if it needed a good airing. There were also a lot of spiders and cobwebs, probably related to the dampness we experienced.

Everything was perfect location was great
