The Old Riverton Post on Route 66

Very comfortable, roomy. Nice balcony. Back yard is awesome. Cool location in small, quiet town right on old Route 66.

All was good.

It was a lovely day, slightly off the beaten path, but the scenery was fantastic. Nestled right by the river and not far from Joplin, it offered a peaceful atmosphere that allowed for a restful night's sleep. The space was quite spacious, complete with Wi-Fi and a Roku TV for entertainment. It brought back fond memories of being at my grandparents' house when I was a child. The accommodations were truly delightful—thank you very much! #gentlyground

There was honestly nothing I disliked about the place. The bed was a bit older, so it wasn't very comfortable at first, but I got used to it after a while. If the main bedroom's bed wasn't to your liking, there was a second bedroom off to the side. It featured porches in the front and side, along with a back patio that had games and a gazebo for relaxation.

All of the little things that were provided to make it feel like a home

The only thing to comment was that the living room got kind of hot during the night but other than that it was a comfortable stay!

Great place. So much love poured into it. Very friendly and responsive host. The water in the fridge was very appreciated. Quiet area, the yard was amazing.

One small minus point for the matress in the bedroom next to the bathroom. It is really soft.

Die Unterkunft ist etwas ganz besonderes. Wir hatten das ganze Haus für uns. Die Wohnung befindet sich im Obergeschoss und ist riesengroß und ganz liebevoll eingerichtet. Es gibt einen großen Balkon, auf dem wir abends sehr schön gesessen haben. Das Bad ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Empfehlung: Holen Sie sich ein Sandwich vom nahegelegenen Nelsons Old Riverton Post. Sehr urig dort.

The location is great. The building is quaint with plenty of room.

Some of the furniture and fittings are a little old but that also contributes to the charm of the place.

Our stay at The Old Riverton Post was a positive experience. The property was well equipped and very clean. The staff were friendly with a welcoming message making sure we were set for the night. Quiet location. Would recommend this place to others especially for those travelling Route 66.
