Maniace Suites Terrace Sea View

This was the most disappointing stay ever and we had to leave. Nothing.

The advertising and confirmation is misrepresentative. The courtyard is a gargling and parking lot. The rooms are on the street in a cave with no windows and the air is filthy from no windows or ventilation. I coughed all night from the bad dusty air. It is pitch dark even in the morning as no natural light. The whole electricity blew while we were cooking twice and we were plunged into darkness and fell. The caretaker was unable to sort this till the next day. There was no means of clearing a glass that fell in the dark and so shards of glass were somewhere on the floor we were lucky not to be cut. The kind caretaker said we needed to get hold of the owners which has so far been impossible. We left early after only one night as it was terrible . We cleared and washed everything so they could readvertise and sort the problems the next day. We can find no way of contacting the owners with our problems and ask for a refund.

Was magnificent just like a castle. The ambience was beautiful and took you back to a time of elegance . Spacious and the location was spectacular close to the beach town and restaurants 🥰 The gardens were like a magic secret garden. Roof top Terrace beautiful for sunset drinks

Loved the apartments location and beautiful interior fit out. Beautiful historic building close to everything. Wonderful!

The apartment is beautifully decorated and has everything needed for a great stay. Ambiance is to die for! You feel like you are in a grand villa by the sea with modern amenities. Location is perfect. Right on the sea. Bathroom, towels and shower awesome.

We had a big problem first night getting locked out of the outer door due to poor communication from the host. Hopefully they will provide better instructions in the future. That is only reason I didn’t give it a 10 rating. Bed was hard and could use a mattress topper. Also would be nice to have 4 pillows rather than 2.

Beautifully decorated, best location in ortigia, close to restaurants and stores. Cristina was very nice and attentive and explained how to park and have us great recommendations!
