Maniace Suites Terrace Sea View

Looks cool, and close to good restaurants and cafes in Ortigia.

I’m disappointed to say that I did not enjoy my stay here. The apartment was dirty. For example, The kitchen sink was dirty(or maybe it is stained), the floor was dirty, the shower head was dirty, there was rust on the towel rail and there was a ton of dust near the bed and in general. The apartment is on the ground floor and opens right onto a Main Street( I thought it was just a window and balcony when booking, I guess that’s my mistake) and due to it being on a Main Street, It was incredibly loud. There are a few restaurants and a club next door so needless to say we got barely any sleep and were sometimes awake until 1:30-2am with the thumping music and groups of people outside yelling. Overall, I can’t recommend this place, and the cost of the rental is not worth it.

Nothing we didn't like, but a note .. No kettle to make tea. The knob to bathroom is a wobbly shell, possibly broken and the shower control difficult to work and came off in your hand. Couldn't get the tv to work.

This suite was amazing. Such lovely owners always a phone call away if there was a problem. What can I say? Well, I was blown away, buy the location, did I say Location Haha. my partner and I loved sitting outside watching the world go buy sipping Wine people watching. Truly an amazing apartment and experience. We didn't want to leave. Sorry for the late review. Thank you for the great memories, guys. 😊

Only thing I can say is it has nice decor inside.

This property will not suit people who want a relaxing stay. The “deluxe suite” is located ground floor and what is not clear is the window of the entire property isn’t even 2ft away from a very busy main road. The windows are not sound proof so you can hear everything, and unfortunately the first night of our stay we had 10+ teens sitting and leaning against the window as there is a bubble cafe directly facing the property, so It was not pleasant listening to mopeds and teens to after 1:30am. If this kind of noise and activity would bother you, then don’t book this property. It’s actually rather shocking that there are no other reviews that state how much noise is a problem for this property. We even ended our stay a few days early as we couldn’t face staying there anymore and the owner was dismissive when issues were raised. And before this review gets an eye roll as a typical complainer, we are very experienced travellers and have stayed in many locations across Sicily on main streets and have never had any issues. I just felt I had to make this review so others are aware of how noisy and un-relaxing, and overpriced the deluxe suite is! As if I hadve read any reviews that stated this it would’ve made me think twice about booking.

The apartment was beautiful, spacious, and well-thought out in terms of art and interior decorating. The bathroom was nice and new with a really good shower. In the perfect location close to cala rossa. The staff, particularly Danilo, were super friendly and accomodating.

Our daughter wants to stay in castle. Well she got one. It was amazing. Location was perfect and beautiful
