Camilla suite

This was a very well equipped apartment, beautifully located in Ortigia. Elisa, our host, couldn't have been more helpful and obliging.

Nothing

The location on the seafront was great and it was close to all amenities. Lots of restaurants around and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. We were also able to swim from the rocks across the road from the apartment. Our host, Elisa, met us and showed us round the flat and explained how relevant appliances worked. She was very friendly and helpful, even carried one of the bags up the stairs. Elisa was in frequent contact re arrival time and as our train was late, had to wait for us. Apartment was cool with the windows open but the bedroom and living rooms had air conditioning. We used the air con at night but didn't need it in the day (with temperatures outside of about 30 C).

Elevator would have been nice extra but other than on arrival, climbing to second floor was not a problem at all. Elisa helped with the bags anyway. There was some traffic noise from the road, but it wasn't a problem at night as we closed the shutters which cut out any noise.

Having been lucky enough to stay in lots of places around the world this has to be the best place we've ever stayed. Do not hesitate in booking this accomodation. Elisa, the host, has been so friendly, engaging and helpful. Her recommendations of places to eat around Ortigia were perfect. She waited patiently for us to arrive when our train was delayed and was so kind and considerate when we left and realized we'd left something behind. As for the apartment, it was spotlessly clean, had everything you could need for a short or long stay. The decoration and furniture are incredibly tasteful. Spoiled with three balconies for plenty of outside space to overlook the incredible sea views. The location is perfect for exploring the area. A short walk to everything you could need. The best bit was the beach opposite the apartment. It's a rocky one but plenty of space to lay down, swim and snorkel - we spent hours there every day. Elisa, thank you for everything, we will be back.

The luxury, ambience and decor of the apartment were excellent. Everything was elegant and tasteful. Facilities were good too - Netflix, dishwasher and all the essentials plus more. Great sea view. Even handy for the bus stop.

Setting is noisy with traffic at night.

This apartment is like living in a palace. Incredible location with sea views from 3 rooms. Huge room with stunning and comfortable furniture. Great lighting, heating when needed, and a lovely patio to eat and relax on. The kitchen was well provisioned for us to prepare meals during our week stay. The bed was so comfortable and the glass door allowed us to see the water even from the bed! The shower had good products and there were lots of soft, fluffy towels. A fantastic stay. Elisa was so sweet and helpful. Our stay in this glorious city was perfect. Thank you Elisa!
